Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) issued a tender for Detailed Feasibility Study for setting up Biomass Based micro-Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plants with mobile filtration and compression at Nanpara, Bahraich, Tulsipur, Balrampur and Srinagar, Kashmir on July 24, 2026. The last date for bid submission is July 31, 2026.
The duration of the contract is 30 days.
BPCL is planning to setup micro CBG plants with production in range of 100-900kg. The proposed plants are likely to process around 100 metric tonnes per day (mtpd) of organic fraction of Biomass. The CBG produced from the plant is likely be compliant to IS 16087: 2025 Standard. The plant will consist of facilities for CBG transportation or CBG injection into City Gas Distribution (CGD) Networks, CBG dispensing into Automobiles and Cascade filling.
