Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) issued a tender for development of the Hopetown LNG Storage & Regasification Project on April 16, 2026. The last date for bid submission is May 21, 2026.
The scope of work involves design, engineering, construction, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of mini floating regasification storage unit (FSRU) , and operation and maintenance (O&M) of Mini FSRU and other associated facilities.
The duration of the contract is 27 years including 2years for construction and 25 years for O&M.
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is planning to set up a liquified natural gas (LNG) storage and regasification facility at Hopetown in South Andaman. The plant would have a LNG storage capacity of 65,700 metric tonnes per annum (mtpa) and regasification capacity of 0.3 metric standard cubic metres per day (mmscmd).
