The Government of Telangana (GoT) has laid the foundation for a compressed biogas (CBG) plant in Gambhiraopet mandal of Rajanna-Sircilla district.
The plant is to be developed by Biostratam Technologies Private Limited and would use paddy straw as feedstock to produce CBG. The project aims to reduce pollution caused by paddy straw burning in fields while providing additional income to farmers.
