Rajasthan State Gas Limited (RSGL) has planned to provide 10,000 new domestic gas connections through pipeline in Kota. The new connections are expected to be added by March 2021.

Currently, RSGL is supplying domestic gas through pipelines to 10,000 households through eight compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Kota. CNG is being made available to industries and vehicles through the mother station in Neemrana, Alwar and by setting up at Jaipur’s daughter booster station, Kukas. Besides, RSGL is developing a network of urban gas distribution system in Gwalior and Sheopur in Madhya Pradesh. One CNG station is being developed at both the places.

Meanwhile, the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas through pipeline to domestic consumers and industries, and setting up of CNG stations in 19 cities of Rajasthan by various companies is currently in progress.
