Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has sought bids for sale of 0.9 million metric standard cubic meters per day (mmscmd) coal bed methane (CBM) gas from its SP(West)-CBM-2001/1 Block.
The gas would be available from April 1, 2024 from GGS 11, Burhar in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. The buyers have been asked to quote a premium over and above 12.67 per cent of the current Brent crude oil price.
The SP(West)-CBM-2001/1 block was awarded to RIL in July 2002.
