REnergy Dynamics has secured two waste-to-compressed biogas (CBG) projects from Refex Renewables in Tamil Nadu. These include a 12.5 tonnes per day (tpd) plant located at Coimbatore and a 10 tpd plant located at Salem, which are expected to collectively process around 550 tpd of municipal solid waste. REnergy Dynamics will undertake engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for both the facilities along with one year of operations and maintenance. The facilities will deploy a two-stage mesophilic anaerobic digestion with CSTR technology and use the organic fraction of municipal solid waste, serving as the feedstock. This is expected to ensure process efficiency, optimised gas yields and long-term operational reliability.
