In a press release dated April 6, 2023, the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has notified PNGRB (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for Petroleum Installations) Amendment Regulations, 2023 to ensure uniform applicability of regulations to Aviation Fuelling Stations (AFS) and Lube manufacturing and filling plants.
It is to include provisions with respect to handling Ethanol. Further, two parts have been inserted namely Part J and Part K. Part J consists of regulations for AFS or Aviation Service Facilities (ASF) and Part K for for lube manufacturing and filling plants.
