The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board issued a public consultation document (PCD) to declare six existing petroleum products pipelines as common carriers or contract carriers under Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited’s pipeline network on August 21, 2025.

These include: 

14 km Bahadurgarh – Tikrikalan Petroleum and Petroleum Product High-Speed Diesel (HSD) Pipeline (BTPL) with a capacity of 0.75 million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa)

14 km Bahadurgarh – Tikrikalan Petroleum and Petroleum Product Motor Spiri (MS) Pipeline (BTPL) with a capacity of 0.75 mmtpa

242 km Ramanmandi – Bahadurgarh Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline (RBPL) including Barwala-Hisar Spur Lines with a capacity of 7.11 mmtpa

30 km Ramanmandi – Bhatinda Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline (RBhPL) with a capacity of 2.1 mmtpa

90 km Bhatinda – Sangrur Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline (BSPL) with a proposed capacity of 1.4 mmtpa

216 km Barmer – Palanpur Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline (BPPL) with a capacity of 6 mmtpa

The comments/views are to be submitted to the Secretary, PNGRB within a month from the date of issue of the PCD, i.e., by September 21, 2025.
