The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board has issued a public consultation document (PCD) for tariff review of Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) Paradip-Raipur-Ranchi Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline (PRRPL) pipeline, under the provisions of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline Transportation Tariff) Regulations, 2024 on September 9, 2025.

The 1108 km pipeline has a provisional capacity of 5 million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa) and handles three petroleum products i.e. Motor Spirit (MS), High Speed Diesel (HSD) and Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO). It has Tap Off Points (TOPs) at delivery stations at Jatni, Jharsuguda, Ranchi, Raipur, Korba and Meramandali CUF Terminal (yet to be commissioned).

The comments/views are to be submitted to the Secretary, PNGRB within 15 days from the date of issue of the PCD, i.e by September 25, 2025.
