Households in Kozhikode have begun receiving natural gas through piped connections to their kitchens. As many as 52 households in Unnikulam Panchayat are getting Piped Natural Gas (PNG) as of now and connection works for 82 are underway. 300 households are likely to get connections by December 2022.
In the first phase, 1,200 households are likely to get the service. The scheme is likely to be extended to panchayat of Balussery and Panagad. Survey for the same are under progress.
