In a notable development, a new compressed natural gas (CNG) station has commenced operations in Bahadurpur, Patna. The CNG station handled around 700 motor vehicles in the first 24 hours of operations. The official inauguration of the CNG station by GAIL (India) Limited is yet to take place.

Currently, there are six operational CNG stations in Patna and the newly opened station in Bahadurpur is the city’s seventh CNG station. This station will facilitate availability of CNG in the Kankarbagh area. Moreover, the eighth CNG station which will be situated in Fatuha is also expected to start operations by the end of this month.
