Oil Green Energy, Haryana municipalities signs MoU to set up CBG plants in Haryana

Oil Green Energy Limited and municipalities of Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar and Ambala have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for setting up four compressed biogas (CBG) plants.

The plants will be developed in Hisar, Ambala, Faridabad and Gurugram with waste processing capacities of 500 tonnes per day (tpd), 900 tpd, 1,600 tpd and 2,000 tpd respectively. The projects are expected to process 5,000 tpd of waste, produce 70-75 tpd of CBG and 50 MW of green power.
