OIL Green Energy Limited (OGEL), subsidiary of Oil India Limited (OIL) and Hind Oil Biofuels Private Limited formed a 50-50 Joint Venture (JV) on October 13, 2026.
Hind Oil Biofuels Private Limited will undertake the conversion of municipal solid waste into compressed biogas, biofuels, energy and other related products, including associated by-products and co-products.
The JV was approved by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) in June 2025.
