200 new commercial and more than 9,000 new domestic gas connections at Kota are likely to be commissioned soon by Rajasthan State Gas Limited (RSGL). RSGL is also working on city gas distribution (CGD) project at Shivpur and Gwalior.
Besides, work on CGD projects at Jodhpur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bharatpur, Sirohi, Jalore, Banswara, Dungarpur, Alwar, Jaipur, Dholpur, Kota, Barmer, Rawatbhata, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Bhilwara, Bundi Ajmer, Pali Jaisamand has commenced.
Meanwhile, with the installation of 221 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations, the work of laying 7,767 inch km pipeline has been completed in the state of Rajasthan.
