In a notable development, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has successfully initiated piped natural gas (PNG) connection and supply at Navy Nagar in South Mumbai.
Earlier, Headquarters Maharashtra Naval Area (HQMNA) and Mahanagar Gas Limited had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for supply of piped natural gas PNG to residential and official premises at Navy Nagar. Under the MoU, 8,000 households, INHS Ashwini Hospital, multiple galleys and bachelor kitchens of the Indian Navy will receive PNG supply.
