The ambitious piped natural gas (PNG) project for Mysore is expected to commence connections to houses or domestic consumers before September 2023. Further, the project is expected to cover 30,000 customers by March 2023.
Meanwhile, apart from 15 km of steel pipeline, AG&P Pratham has laid another 27 km of medium density polyethylene pipeline (MDPE), which is the main pipeline, in parts of the city. It plans to lay a total of 400 km of MDPE pipeline in Mysore. The registrations for domestic PNG have started and about 24,000 registrations had been completed.
