Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda Natural Gas Pipeline Project is expected to be operational by February 28, 2026.
Currently, the construction of the pipeline has been completed and pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are underway. The Mumbai-Nagpur Section as well as the Chhattisgarh and Odisha Section of the Nagpur-Jharsuguda section have been operationalised.
The project involves laying, building, operating or expanding a natural gas pipeline from Mumbai (Maharashtra) to Jharsuguda (Odisha) through Nagpur, Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba, Raigarh along with spurline to Nagpur- Chhindwara- Jabalpur spanning about 1,702 km with an initial system capacity of at least 10 million standard cubic meters a day (mmscmd).
