GAIL (India) Limited has revised the completion schedule of the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda Natural Gas Pipeline Project from March 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026.
Besides, Mumbai-Nagpur, Nagpur-Jharsuguda (Chhattisgarh & Odisha Section) and Nagpur-Jabalpur sections of the pipeline have been commissioned.
The project involves laying, building, operating or expanding a natural gas pipeline from Mumbai (Maharashtra) to Jharsuguda (Odisha) through Nagpur, Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba, Raigarh along with spurline to Nagpur- Chhindwara- Jabalpur spanning about 1,702 km with an initial system capacity of at least 10 million standard cubic meters a day (mmscmd).
