In a key development, MeghaGas has opened two more compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Chityala and Shadhnagar districts in Telangana in June 2022. The CNG station at Chityal is on the Hyderabad-Vijaywada Highway whereas the one of Shadnagar is on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru Highway.
MEIL bagged gas licences for 14 areas across India, in the 11th city gas distribution bidding round held by Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board. It has won geographical areas in nine states, i.e., Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
