Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL) has hiked the prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Rs 0.75 per kg and piped natural gas (PNG) by Rs 0.75 per standard cubic meter (scm) in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and adjoining areas of Chakan, Talegaon and Hinjewadi, effective from April 9, 2025.
The revised CNG price stands at Rs 89.75 per kg while PNG stands at Rs 50.65 per scm.
MNGL is a joint venture of two Maharatna Public Sector Undertakings, GAIL (India) Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) with equity participation from the government of Maharashtra and Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL).
