Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has reported 33.31 per cent decrease in net profit in the second quarter of financial year (FY) 2025-26. The net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 1.91 billion as against Rs 2.86 billion profit in the second quarter of FY 2024-25.
The revenue from operations witnessed 14.95 per cent increase from Rs 19.62 billion to Rs 22.56 billion during the period under consideration.
The total sales volume stood at 422.59 million standard cubic meters (mscm), compressed natural gas (CNG) volumes at 299.45 mscm and piped natural gas (PNG) volumes at 123.14 mscm during the January 2025- March 2025 period.
