Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) bagged gas licences for 15 areas across India, emerging as a winner of the highest number of licenses in the latest CGD bidding round held by PNGRB.

The Hyderabad-based infrastructure major offers gas distribution services under Megha Gas and won GAs in nine states, i.e., Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. The PNGRB had invited bids for 65 GAs across India and the winning bidders will set up mother stations, laying main gas pipeline and distribution pipelines for piped natural gas (PNG) along with installation of compressed natural gas (CNG) stations for automobiles in the GAs that have been bagged.
