Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited has inaugurated liquefied natural gas (CNG) plant in Tadali, Chandrapur district of Maharashtra.
The plant would help supply compressed natural gas (CNG) to vehicles and piped natural gas (PNG) to domestic, commercial and industrial consumers.
The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has authorised Megha Gas to lay city gas distribution (CGD) infrastructure in 62 districts across 22 GAs in ten states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
