Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited has completed the installation of its sixth liquefied natural gas (LNG) tank at Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in Tadali in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra.

The 56 kilo litre (kl) LNG storage tank and regasification plant, is designed to deliver a continuous supply of compressed natural gas (CNG) for transportation needs and piped natural gas (PNG) for commercial, industrial, and future household applications.

Currently, Megha Gas operates six CNG stations in Wardha and Chandrapur districts.

Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has authorised Megha Gas to lay city gas distribution (CGD) infrastructure in 62 districts across 22 geographical areas (GAs).
