In a recent development, Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited has commissioned compressed biogas (CBG) station at Yergatti in Belagavi geographical area (GA) in Karnataka.
With this, Megha Gas has four CBG stations and 16 operational compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Belagavi GA.
The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has authorised Megha Gas to lay city gas distribution (CGD) infrastructure in 62 districts across 22 GAs in ten states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
