Indian Oil – Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL) is setting up a city gas distribution network in the Kozhikode district of Kerala. IOAGPL has already started supplying compressed natural gas (CNG) at K P Kunhiraman & Sons in Nadakkavu, Aroma Fuel Station in Chemanchery, Kuniyil Auto Fuels in Ulliyeri, and Sreerag Filling Station at Parambil Bazar in the district. In order to further drive the growth of CNG ecosystem in the district, IOAGPL is in the process of making CNG available at Payyoli, Unnikulam, Estate Mukku, Kuttiyadi and Engapuzha.

IOAGPL has been granted authorisation by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board for implementation of city gas distribution project in districts of Ernakulam (Kerala); Chandigarh (UT); Prayagraj (UP); Daman (UT); Udhamsingh Nagar (Uttarakhand); Dharwad- Hubli (Karnataka); Panipat (Haryana); South Goa (Goa); Bulandshahr (UP); Gaya and Nalanda (Bihar); Panchkula (Haryana); Kozhikode and Wayanad (Kerala); Malappuram (Kerala); Kannur-Kasaragodu-Mahé (Kerala); Palakkad-Thrissur (Kerala); Bulandshahr-Aligarh (UP); Prayagraj-Bhadohi-Kausambi (UP); Burdwan (West Bengal) and Jaunpur (UP).
