The Indian Oil Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL) has commissioned their first piped natural gas (PNG) domestic connection at Burdwan,West Bengal.
IOAGPL has become the first city gas distributor to supply domestic connection in the state.
IOAGPL is a joint venture company of Indian Oil Corporation Limited– a Maharatna Company of Government of India and Adani Gas Limited, a leading city gas distribution company and part of Adani Group. IOAGPL has been granted authorisation by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board for implementation of city gas distribution project in districts of Ernakulam (Kerala); Chandigarh (Union Territory); Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh (UP)); Daman (Union Territory); Udhamsingh Nagar (Uttarakhand); Dharwad- Hubli (Karnataka); Panipat (Haryana); South Goa (Goa); Bulandshahr (UP); Gaya and Nalanda (Bihar); Panchkula (Haryana); Kozhikode and Wayanad (Kerala); Malappuram (Kerala); Kannur-Kasaragodu-Mahé (Kerala); Palakkad-Thrissur (Kerala); Bulandshahr-Aligarh (UP); Prayagraj-Bhadohi-Kausambi (UP); Burdwan (West Bengal) and Jaunpur (UP).
