Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has witnessed 12.17 per cent decrease in net profit in the first quarter of financial year (FY) 2025-26. The net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 4.27 billion as against Rs 4.79 billion profit in the first quarter of FY 2024-25.

The revenue from operations recorded 11.29 per cent increase from Rs 38.87 billion to Rs 43.26 billion during the period under consideration.

The total sales volume stood at 830.87 million standard cubic meters (mscm), compressed natural gas (CNG) volumes at 617.63 mscm and piped natural gas (PNG) volumes at 213.07 mscm during the April 2025- June 2025 period.

IGL is an Indian natural gas distribution company that supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in Delhi-national capital region (NCR) and its neighbouring cities.
