Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has set up two new compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Kaithal district of Haryana. These stations are Apna Filling Station (IOCL), located at Titram More, and Kaithal Petro Point, located at Jind Road.

In March 2019, IGL had received a letter of intent from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) for supply of CNG and piped natural gas (PNG) in Kaithal district after the 10th round of bidding. Under the minimum work programme, IGL had planned to set up four CNG stations and provide PNG connections to around 10,000 households across the geographical area within two years. According to IGL, it will also provide gas connections to industries and commercial establishments like hotels, restaurants and hospitals in the region along with domestic connections.

IGL, a joint venture of GAIL (India) Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, is already engaged in supplying CNG and PNG in Delhi, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Rewari and Gurugram.
