Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has reported 17.82 per cent decrease in net profit in the second quarter of financial year (FY) 2024-25. The net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 4.54 billion as against Rs 5.52 billion profit in the second quarter of FY 2023-24.
The revenue from operations witnessed 6.95 per cent increase from Rs 38.22 billion to Rs 40.88 billion during the period under consideration.
The total sales volume stood at 830.39 million standard cubic meters (mscm), compressed natural gas (CNG) volumes at 623.65 mscm, liquefied natural gas (LNG) at 0.77 mscm and piped natural gas (PNG) volumes at 205.97 mscm during the July 2024- September 2024 period.
IGL is an Indian natural gas distribution company that supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in Delhi-national capital region (NCR) and its neighbouring cities.
