Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has posted a 30 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 4 billion for the quarter ended September 30, 2021. IGL registered a turnover of Rs 20.05 billion as compared to Rs 14.34 billion recorded in the corresponding period of financial year 2020-21.
IGL registered an average daily sale of 7.24 million standard cubic meters in the quarter as compared to 5.50 million standard cubic meters per day sales in the year-ago period, showing a growth of 32 per cent.
IGL is the largest compressed natural gas distribution company in the country, operating city gas distribution networks across 27 districts in 10 geographical areas spread across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan.
