In a key development, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has laid the foundation stone for gas receiving terminal of IGL at village Daulat Khera at district Ajmer in Rajasthan on October 1, 2022. Officials from the company also inspected IGL’s upcoming liquified natural gas station at Ajaymeru Industrial area at Palra in Ajmer (Rajasthan).

IGL is an Indian natural gas distribution company that supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in Delhi-NCR including neighbouring cities like Noida, Ghaziabad, Rewari, Gurugram etc. As of August 2022, number of CNG stations being operated by IGL stands at 718 and number of CNG vehicles in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Meerut, Kanpur, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Rewari, Gurugram, Karnal and Kaithal stands at around 1,482,170.
