As per the minimum works programme, IGL will install 36 CNG stations (online and daughter booster stations), provide 105,543 domestic piped natural gas connections, and lay 1,755-inch km of steel pipeline within the eight year contract from the date of authorisation.
Further, IGL is allowed a 300-month exclusivity period for laying, building and expansion of the CGD network; and 96-months exclusivity period in terms of exemption from the purview of common carrier or contract carrier for the CGD network, under the PNGRB Regulations, 2008.
