In a notable development, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has inaugurated its first compressed bio-gas (CBG) plant in Ajmer, Rajasthan.
The plant, established under sustainable alternative towards affordable transportation (SATAT) initiative, would have the capacity of 6 tonnes per day (tpd).
IGL is an Indian natural gas distribution company that supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in Delhi-national capital region (NCR) and its neighbouring cities.
