Indraprastha Gas Limited commissioned the National Capital Territory’s first LNG station at the CONCOR multimodal logistics park (MMLP) in Dadri.
The station can reportedly refuel around 50-60 long-haul vehicles in a day with a maximum dispensing capacity of 20 tonnes of LNG a day. The move is expected to decarbonise long-haul freight transportation and strengthen India’s clean fuel infrastructure. The station was inaugurated by CONCOR
The project entailed an investment of Rs 1.18 billion at an area of about 4,200 square metres, The station has 56.8 killo litre of storage tank and a 150 litres per minute (lmp) Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) dispenser and a 100 Standard Cubic Meters per Hour (scmh) Liquified Petroleum (LP) vaporiser.
