Gujarat Gas Limited has witnessed 53.14 per cent increase in net profit in the first quarter of financial year (FY) 2024-25. The net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 3.3 billion as against Rs 2.15 billion profit in the first quarter of FY 2023-24.
The revenue from operations reported 17.61 per cent increase from Rs 39.23 billion to Rs 46.14 billion during the period under consideration.
The total sales volume stood at 10.98 million metric metric standard cubic meters per day (mmscmd), compressed natural gas (CNG) volumes at 2.98 mmscmd and piped natural gas (PNG) volumes at 8 mmscmd during the April 2024- June 2024 period under consideration.
Gujarat Gas is one of the country’s largest city gas distribution (CGD) companies operating in 44 districts in 6 states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh and union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. It has over 810 CNG stations and provides domestic PNG to over 2.15 million households.
