Gujarat Gas Limited has reported 40.52 per cent year on year (YoY) decrease in net profit in the third quarter of financial year (FY) 2023-24. The net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 2.21 billion as against Rs 3.71 billion profit in the third quarter of FY 2022-23.
The revenue from operations witnessed a rise of 6.88 per cent on YoY basis from Rs 38.21 billion in October-December 2022 period to Rs 40.84 billion in October-December 2023 period.
Gujarat Gas is one of the country’s largest city gas distribution (CGD) companies operating in 44 districts in 6 states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh and union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
