Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited (GSPC) commissioned the Chhara-Lonthpur natural gas pipeline in Gujarat on March 20, 2025.
The project involved laying a natural gas transportation pipeline from the Chhara liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal of HPCL LNG Limited at Chhara in Gir-Somnath district to GSPL’s dispatch terminal at village Lonthpur in Amreli in the state of Gujarat with a capacity 18 million standard cubic meters a day (mmscmd). It entailed an investment of Rs 6.5 billion.
