GAIL (India) Limited has submitted proposal to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) for Raniganj Coal Bed Methane (CBM)- Sectionalising Valve (SV) 34 Natural Gas Pipeline Project.

The project involves laying 8”, 28.81 km natural gas pipeline with peak capacity of 0.477 million metric standard cubic meters a day (mmscmd) for tie-in connectivity from Raniganj CBM block of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) to SV-34 along the Dobhi- Durgapur section of Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra natural gas pipeline of GAIL in the state of West Bengal.
