GAIL (India) Limited has signed a long-term charter party agreement with Pantheon Maritime Services Private Limited, a Singapore-based affiliate of Alpha Gas, a Greek shipping major, for liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier Energy Fidelity on April 7, 2026.

The LNG carrier would have a cargo capacity of 174,000 cubic meters and would be equipped with a two-stroke propulsion system along with air lubrication technology and shaft generators for fuel efficiency and emission reduction.

Besides, the agreement marks a milestone for GAIL under the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, aimed at strengthening India’s maritime infrastructure and energy supply chain capabilities.
