GAIL (India) Limited has reported 26.06 per cent decrease in net profit in the second quarter of financial year (FY) 2025-26. The net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 19.88 billion as against Rs 26.89 billion profit in the second quarter of FY 2024-25.

The revenue from operations witnessed 4.93 per cent increase from Rs 339.81 billion to Rs 356.57 billion during the period under consideration.

GAIL (India) Limited is a natural gas company, operating over 16,000 km pipeline network across the country. It is engaged in gas trading, transmission, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production and transmission, liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification, petrochemicals, city gas distribution (CGD), exploration and production.
