GAIL (India) Limited is planning to set up liquefied natural gas (LNG) dispensing stations along major highways including golden quadrilateral, entailing an investment of Rs 6.5 billion.

The stations would promote the utilisation of LNG as transportation fuel, aligning with the company’s goal to achieve over 50 percent market share by 2030. 

Besides, it has already established a retail LNG division and developed a strategic plan to expand its presence in the LNG sector.
