GAIL Gas Limited has expanded its city gas distribution (CGD) network in 25 geographical areas (GA) across 50 districts in 14 states of India. On standalone basis, GAIL Gas has its presence in 16 GAs and through joint ventures (JV) in another nine GAs in financial year (FY) 2022-23.
It has commissioned around 102 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations and provided more than 0.04 million domestic piped natural gas (PNG) connections in FY 2022-23.
With this, GAIL Gas has 352 CNG stations and 0.14 million domestic PNG connections across its authorised GAs.
