Evercrest Projects Private Limited has secured a contract worth Rs 243.49 million for civil and structural works for the Uran-Usar pipeline under the Usar Petrochemical Complex Project. 

The scope of work includes civil, structural and associated electrical works for sectionalising valve (SV) stations for the Uran-Usar pipeline under the project.

The duration of the contract is eight months. 

GAIL (India) Limited has proposed revival of existing liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant and other facilities at Usar in Raigad district of Maharashtra and converting it into 500 kilo tonnes per annum (ktpa) polymer grade propylene products using polypropylene (PP) and PDH technologies. The feedstock propane will be imported from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) port and a cryogenic terminal is proposed to be set up at Uran for propane storage.
