Duliajan Numaligarh Pipeline Limited (DNPL) has submitted expression of interest (EoI) for the Duliajan- Chandrapur Natural Gas Pipeline Project.
Besides, the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has initiated the public consultation process for the same.
The project involves laying, building, operating and expanding a 500 km long natural gas pipeline from Madhuban, Duliajan to Chandrapur via Jorhat, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong and Nagaon in the state of Assam with system capacity of 5.5 million standard cubic meters a day (mmscmd).
