Dehradun is likely to get piped natural gas (PNG) supply soon. Around 0.3 million houses will get PNG connections in the first phase.
Recently, GAIL Gas Limited has completed the PNG pipeline laying works at ISBT, Kargi, Ajabpur, Dharampur and Nehru Colony in Doon. Besides, it is seeking necessary approvals to connect the colonies with the main line.
GAIL Gas Limited operates in 16 geographical areas (GA) across the country and is working towards gas based economy in India.
