Construction is underway for 12 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations at Patna including R Block, Transport Nagar, Rajendra Nagar and Phulwari Transport Complex. Another 12 stations are planned to be constructed by December 2026.
With the addition of these 24 stations, Patna would have 60 stations. Besides, CNG dispensing units are planned at ten petrol pumps for which proposals have been sent to pump operators for approval and implementation.
