The Union government is planning to expand piped natural gas (PNG) connections to around 126.3 million by 2032 from the current 13.6 million connections across urban and semi-urban areas.
Besides, it is aiming to increase compressed natural gas (CNG) stations to 25,000 by 2032 from the existing network of over 7,000 CNG stations.
