Vemulawada Municipality is likely to come up a compressed bio-gas (CBG) plant at Vemulawada in Telangana. It is likely to be commissioned by June 2023.
The plant will have the capacity to process 2.5 tonnes per day (tpd) cattle dung.
Sundaram Fab Private Limited has been awarded the project. It is being set up at an investment of Rs 3.16 million funded by Vemulawada Temple Development Authority (VTDA).
