The Tiruchirappalli Municipal Corporation (TMC) is planning to set up a bio- compressed natural gas (CNG) plant at Ariyamangalam dump yard in Trichy. The gas generated would be supplied to commercial establishments as cooking gas.
TMC has around 47 acres of land there and is planning to implement multiple projects, including the bio CNG plant .
